LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN
The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program provides local advocacy services arising out of complaints and concerns of residents in skilled nursing and licensed board and care facilities. This valuable program has five (5 regions in LA County) offices managed by regional coordinators and a 200-plus volunteer staff, all certified by the State and overseeing 2000 facilities.
This valuable program promotes the quality of life for our elderly residents in out-of-home care facilities and serves as a mediator for residents and families.
